Bánh mì Challah

Challah goes really well with fruit jam, yum yum! Left-over challah is also perfect for French toast ;) )

Working with pie dough sometimes makes me nervous, yet working with bread dough is a different story. To me bread dough is more ‘baker-friendly’ as it is more elastic and much less sticky than pie dough ^^
The smell of yeast is also to my liking ;) )

* Ingredients:
DOUGH:
1/2 cup warm water
4 tbsps unsalted butter (1/2 stick), melted
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
21/4 tsps instant yeast
11/4 tsps salt

GLAZE
1 lagre egg white
2 tbsps water
